German Business Development Manager (M/F)

About the role

This position is with a fast‑growing international technology company seeking a Business Development Manager for the German market. You will own the full inbound sales cycle for German‑speaking prospects, from first contact to contract signing, and work closely with internal teams to ensure successful onboarding and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of German‑speaking prospects and customers.
• Drive new business opportunities while building long‑term client relationships.
• Understand customer challenges and recommend appropriate SaaS solutions in a consultative manner.
• Manage sales opportunities from qualification through contract negotiation and closing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and high customer satisfaction.
• Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts to expand revenue.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to support business development initiatives.
• Participate in commercial events to increase company visibility.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Development, Account Management, Sales, or Customer Success within a SaaS, technology or software environment.
• Fluent German and English (written and spoken); French is a strong advantage.
• Proven ability to engage with international stakeholders and multicultural environments.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Comfortable leading discovery calls and product demonstrations.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
• Strong analytical mindset and results‑driven approach.
