Financial Controller

About the role

CAE Aviation is expanding its financial team and is looking for a Financial Controller to support budgeting, daily financial operations, and the preparation of financial statements. You will work closely with various departments to ensure financial stability and improve performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the annual budget and monitor its execution.
• Follow up daily financial activities and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Participate in forecasting future financial performance.
• Monitor organizational activities that involve financial resources.
• Recommend policy or procedural changes to enhance financial results.
• Maintain financial stability and create control tables.
• Assist in the preparation of month‑end closing and financial statements.
• Perform miscellaneous financial tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate diploma in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration.
• First professional experience in accounting or audit.
• Fluency in French and good knowledge of English.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of the BOB accounting system (a plus).
