Senior Finance Manager

About the role

This senior position is based in Luxembourg and reports to the European CFO. You will ensure that all Luxembourg financial requirements are met while providing the senior leadership team with insightful financial analysis to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the monthly accounting cycle, review transactions and journal postings, and ensure accurate financial results.
• Prepare financial result analyses for management and the Board, highlighting variances, trends, and performance drivers.
• Develop annual forecasts and budgets for discussion with the Country Head and European CFO.
• Coordinate with shared services to align reporting timelines, intercompany reconciliations, and group consolidation.
• Support quarterly client billing, fee calculations, invoice generation, and revenue recognition.
• Oversee accounts receivable, cash collections, and aging reports, identifying collection issues.
• Manage vendor invoice review, accounts payable, accrual reporting, and cash management.
• Act as the key stakeholder for the Microsoft D365 F&O ERP platform, driving adoption, automation, and efficiency improvements.
• Develop the local finance team through clear development plans, defined responsibilities, and cross‑training.

Required profile

• Proven experience ensuring compliance with Luxembourg GAAP and regulatory reporting standards.
• Strong analytical ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Experience partnering with business management and internal stakeholders to execute day‑to‑day finance activities.
• Leadership capability to support and develop a local finance team.
