Finance Manager – Statutory Reporting & Compliance

About the role

Amazon is seeking a Finance Manager to lead statutory financial reporting and compliance within its Luxembourg team. This role goes beyond traditional reporting, requiring ownership of end‑to‑end accounting processes, automation, and AI‑driven insights in a fast‑moving, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive core accounting operations, including month‑end close, financial reporting, and external audit management across multiple frameworks.
• Transform accounting data into actionable insights that support innovation.
• Identify, develop, and implement scalable process improvements using automation and AI‑powered tools.
• Collaborate globally with Accounting, Finance, Technology, Tax, Legal, and external business partners.
• Lead and deliver complex, large‑scale projects in a high‑growth setting.
• Continuously enhance skills by working with advanced finance technologies and global best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Deep understanding of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Extensive experience leading end‑to‑end accounting cycles, managing audits, and handling multi‑jurisdictional reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and ERP platforms, leveraging automation and AI.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience working with cross‑functional and global teams.
