Finance Manager – Banking

About the role

Our client, a leading international FinTech organisation, is establishing a regulated banking entity in Luxembourg and seeks a Senior Finance Manager. You will shape and strengthen the finance function, ensuring compliance and supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Support the setup and ongoing development of the finance function.
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance across finance activities.
• Act as the primary contact for regulators, auditors and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee financial reporting, audits and month‑end processes.
• Contribute finance expertise to new product initiatives.
• Manage finance‑related outsourcing arrangements.
• Coordinate board and shareholder meetings, including documentation.
• Support payment processes and core finance operations.
• Assist with capital planning and FP&A activities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong experience in finance within regulated banking environments.
• Independent, analytical thinker with a hands‑on, solution‑oriented approach.
• Proven project‑management ability and solid understanding of financial and regulatory frameworks.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
