Finance Associate

About the role

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading investment fund to hire a Finance Associate who will independently manage a portfolio of Luxembourg entities from planning through execution. The role combines finance, tax, legal, and leadership responsibilities to ensure high‑quality delivery and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of accounting records and provide final approval for assigned entities, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Plan, manage, and execute end‑to‑end delivery of entity operations, including consolidation, cash management, budgeting, forecasting, and distribution of proceeds.
• Implement tax tracking systems, coordinate with external advisors, and prepare data for income tax, VAT, and transfer‑pricing filings.
• Maintain corporate files, support legal counsel on SPV governance, and prepare board meeting packs.
• Guide and develop junior team members and offshore consultants through regular feedback and coaching.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
• 4‑6 years of relevant experience, preferably audit (Big Four) or fiduciary services with exposure to private equity, private credit, or real‑estate investments.
• Accounting qualification such as Luxembourg Chartered Accountant or ACCA is a strong asset.
• Solid knowledge of Lux GAAP; IFRS or US GAAP knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong sense of ownership, project‑management capability, and ability to work in multicultural environments.

Required skills

• Proficient use of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of Lux GAAP accounting standards.
• Familiarity with IFRS and US GAAP concepts.
