Experienced Accountant – International Operations (CDI)

About the role

Cogent Communications in Luxembourg is seeking an experienced accountant to manage the books of several international subsidiaries and support various administrative functions. The role focuses on accounting for operations in the Asia‑Pacific and LATAM regions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily transactions for international operations and maintain up‑to‑date general ledger.
• Produce accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations, including corporate taxes, VAT, withholding and GST filings.
• Book invoices, follow up payments and reconcile supplier balances.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Liaise with local external accounting firms, review their reports and ensure alignment with group reporting.
• Handle audit requests and ensure statutory accounts are filed on time.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong command of English; Spanish is a plus.
• Authorized to work in Luxembourg.
• Service‑oriented mindset and initiative.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel.
• ERP system – preferably Navision.
