Director of Rooms Operations (m/f/x)

About the role

The Director of Rooms Operations leads the strategic direction of the Rooms department for a luxury hotel in Luxembourg. Reporting to senior hotel management, the role ensures that all rooms‑related services meet brand standards, drive revenue, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the Rooms team, communicating clear departmental goals and brand service vision.
• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the brand’s business plan.
• Monitor and promote room rates, specials, and promotions to maximize occupancy and profitability.
• Analyze service issues, audit expenses, and implement cost‑control measures.
• Track sales performance against budget, coach managers on occupancy, rate management, and controllable expenses.
• Review guest feedback, ensure corrective actions, and uphold high standards of customer service.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or related field with at least 4 years relevant experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years experience.
• Proven leadership experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales, or hotel operations.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret financial statements and drive performance.
