Director, Executive Rewards

About the role

The Director, Executive Rewards leads the design, governance, implementation and continuous improvement of SES’s global executive compensation programmes. Reporting to the Vice President Total Rewards, the role acts as a trusted advisor to senior HR and business leaders and the Remuneration Committee.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance executive remuneration strategies aligned with corporate objectives and talent priorities.
• Design short‑term and long‑term incentive plans for senior leadership and ensure external competitiveness and internal equity.
• Provide expert support to the Remuneration Committee and Board, preparing analyses, reports and recommendations.
• Monitor regulatory, legal, tax and governance requirements across jurisdictions and maintain robust compliance frameworks.
• Coordinate external compensation consultants and deliver complex cross‑functional projects.
• Drive capability building within the Rewards function and communicate remuneration practices transparently to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in executive compensation, rewards or total rewards functions.
• Proven ability to advise senior leadership and board members on remuneration strategy and risk.
• Strong knowledge of global compensation regulations, governance codes and shareholder expectations.
• Demonstrated track record of leading strategic projects and influencing organisational change.
