Director, Central ELS & ELS 4.0

About the role

Materials Group is seeking a visionary Director to lead its Central Enterprise Lean System (ELS) function and drive the transition to an AI‑enabled "Lighthouse Factory" across Europe. Based in Rodange, you will be responsible for regional standardisation, capability building and digital supply‑chain transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the regional guardian of operational and supply‑chain standards, overseeing 5S, Standard Work, Kaizen, SMED, TPM and OEE tracking.
• Define and enforce supply‑chain standards including production planning logic, inventory buffers, freight‑spend governance and S&OP integration.
• Lead a central training academy, maintaining certification pathways for Yellow, Green and Black Belt mastery and modern digital‑literacy programmes.
• Drive the yearly strategic deployment process, aligning sales, operations, finance, HR and IT around the Annual Operating Plan.
• Champion ELS 4.0 initiatives: implement predictive AI models, shop‑floor IoT integration, digital twins and a regional control‑tower dashboard.

Required profile

• Senior leader with proven experience bridging Lean Six Sigma methodologies and Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Strong track record of regional standardisation, large‑scale training programmes and cross‑functional strategy deployment.
• Ability to influence executive stakeholders and guide digital transformation across multiple sites.
