Digital Transformation & Controlling Manager (Finance)

About the role

The Digital Transformation & Controlling Manager will lead the design, deployment and optimisation of financial systems, reporting tools and KPIs for a European real‑estate focused family office. Reporting to the Finance Director, the role sits at the intersection of finance, technology and asset performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and rollout of a complete financial and reporting software suite (ERP, consolidation API, reporting, BI).
• Act as the business owner of finance systems, ensuring alignment with group needs and scalability.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and external integrators during implementation phases.
• Drive process standardisation, automation and data‑quality improvements across entities.
• Design and oversee group‑level controlling and reporting frameworks for real‑estate entities.
• Develop, monitor and continuously improve key real‑estate KPIs (asset performance, cash flow, yield, occupancy, capex, debt metrics).
• Produce and supervise management reporting for senior management.
• Serve as the primary interface between Finance, IT, external providers and senior leadership.
• Support ad‑hoc projects such as acquisitions, restructurings, refinancings and portfolio analysis.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in financial controlling, reporting or finance transformation.
• Proven track record deploying a full finance/reporting software suite in a multi‑entity environment.
• Fluent in English and French; German is a plus.
• Strong exposure to real‑estate asset management and performance monitoring.
• Experience in multinational and cross‑border environments.
