Digital Core Banking Consultant – Banking Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a Digital Core Banking Consultant to join our Banking Solutions team in Luxembourg. You will work on end‑to‑end digital and core banking transformation programmes for leading financial institutions, combining business expertise with modern platforms and agile delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and contribute across the full project lifecycle – analysis, design, build, test and deployment – of digital and core banking solutions.
• Support programme and project managers in applying agile practices, standards and controls.
• Monitor and report on scope, cost, schedule, resources, risks and issues, producing dashboards and KPIs.
• Facilitate workshops to capture requirements, design service/UX and micro‑service solutions, and validate them through testing.
• Drive digital strategy, feasibility studies and ideation for process digitalisation with a focus on customer experience.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or IT.
• 2–5 years of experience in core and digital banking transformation or banking software consultancy.
• Strong stakeholder communication, problem‑solving and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with digital banking platforms such as Temenos Infinity, Kony, Backbase, OutSystems or Crealogix.
• Experience with core banking solutions such as Temenos, Avaloq, ERI Olympic or Oracle Flexcube.
• Familiarity with micro‑services, APIs and testing practices.
• Knowledge of at least one domain such as CRM, compliance, risk management, securities processing, accounting or regulatory reporting.
