DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer to own the full stack that powers our engineering organisation. You will design, build, deploy and operate everything from physical rack layouts to Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD pipelines, MLOps platforms and the security controls that bind them together.

Key responsibilities

• Design the complete infrastructure stack, including service topology, network segmentation, trust zones, rack layouts, power, cooling and cabling.
• Manage hardware lifecycle from specification and procurement to deployment, maintenance and decommissioning.
• Size and deploy on‑prem and hybrid compute environments for GPU clusters, tiered storage, analytics tools and local LLM deployment.
• Operate self‑hosted engineering tooling such as GitLab, artifact repositories, SAST scanners and documentation platforms, ensuring high availability and backup.
• Build and maintain the MLOps lifecycle stack: experiment tracking, model registries, GPU‑scheduled training orchestration, dataset versioning and model serving pipelines.
• Design, operate and secure the container platform (Docker, private registries, Kubernetes) using Helm/Kustomize and GitOps‑driven delivery.
• Architect CI/CD pipelines and ensure reproducibility and auditability from data ingestion to edge deployment.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and operating complex, defence‑grade infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of hardware provisioning, capacity planning and hybrid cloud environments.
• Ability to work closely with embedded engineers, ML researchers, flight‑software developers and data analysts.
