DevOps Engineer – Freelance (Onsite, Luxembourg)

About the role

We are looking for a senior DevOps Engineer to join our team on a 360‑day freelance contract, working onsite in Luxembourg. The role focuses on release management, CI/CD pipeline support, and the administration of enterprise DevOps tooling in a complex on‑premise environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement and maintain release and deployment processes across multiple applications.
• Support CI/CD delivery, coordinate release planning, execution and post‑release follow‑up.
• Manage ITIL‑based incident, change, problem and release management activities.
• Administer enterprise platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub, Nexus, SonarQube, Jira (Data Center & Cloud), Azure DevOps, Matomo and Codescene.
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot middleware components (JBoss EAP, Tomcat, Nginx, Apache) and Java‑EE/SpringBoot applications.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Groovy, Python or Java.
• Analyze and resolve database incidents for Sybase ASE and Oracle, and support Linux and Windows environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in DevOps, release management and IT service management.
• EU citizenship with a valid Luxembourg work permit.
• Strong understanding of ITIL best practices, especially incident and release management.
• Proven ability to act as a single point of contact for IT users and technical teams.
