DevOps Engineer – Build & Scale AWS Platform

About the role

We are looking for a senior DevOps Engineer to join our fast‑growing data analytics company in Luxembourg. You will act as an in‑house consultant, designing and scaling a high‑performance AWS ecosystem from the ground up while collaborating closely with data engineers and software teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end design, implementation and operation of multi‑cluster AWS infrastructure.
• Audit existing pipelines, propose architectural improvements and present initiatives to engineering leadership.
• Partner with a team of data engineers to optimise ELT/ETL workloads, reduce latency and automate development workflows.
• Implement FinOps practices, track costs across projects and establish DevSecOps foundations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Deep architectural fluency with AWS and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes) and cloud‑native workloads.
• Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Pragmatic thinker who can balance production readiness with proof‑of‑concept speed.
• Assertive communicator able to guide engineers and data scientists on best practices.
