Deployment Execution Engineer – Robotics & Automation

About the role

Amazon is looking for a business‑oriented Deployment Execution Engineer to lead large‑scale automation and storage projects across its fulfilment network in Europe. The role involves evaluating, delivering and continuously improving state‑of‑the‑art material handling and robotic systems while coordinating internal teams and external contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Own creation, validation and improvement of deployment deliverables such as work instructions and training materials.
• Support evaluation and delivery of large‑scale automation technologies including conveyance, sortation and robotics systems.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams and external contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure deployment deliverables meet Amazon’s quality standards and timelines.
• Provide guidance and troubleshooting for complex automation deployments.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise deployment processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in automation deployments within warehouse or logistics environments.
• Strong technical problem‑solving ability across multiple sites and technologies.
• Ability to travel up to 50% across Europe and occasional international travel.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
