Data Scientist / ML Engineer

About the role

Flibco is looking for a Data Scientist / ML Engineer to build and ship models that directly influence pricing, demand forecasting, customer intelligence and route performance. You will work at the intersection of machine learning, experimentation and operational analytics, turning data‑driven insights into real business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy predictive models that support operational and commercial decisions.
• Design and analyse experiments to validate hypotheses and measure impact.
• Build machine‑learning solutions to improve customer understanding, retention and lifetime value.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to productionise models on Snowflake and dbt, including monitoring, alerting and retraining pipelines.
• Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to data‑quality improvement, model governance and analytical best practices.

Required profile

• Solid background in applied machine learning, statistics and production ML deployment.
• Motivated team player able to work independently and deliver results.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex findings to business stakeholders.
