Data Scientist – IO

About the role

NTT DATA Luxembourg is looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join the Data Management department of a major International Organization. You will turn large‑scale data into actionable insights, develop forecasting models and support automated decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy machine‑learning and statistical models to address business challenges.
• Identify, collect and preprocess data from diverse sources, ensuring uniformity and accuracy.
• Apply Spark/Hadoop and Dataiku to mine big‑data stores and perform feature engineering.
• Conduct data and error analysis to continuously improve model performance.
• Collaborate with analysts and developers to integrate models into production environments.
• Analyse trends and patterns, providing clear interpretations and recommendations.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, statistics, applied mathematics or a related field.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in data‑science projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to ask the right questions and connect data points.
• Fluent English (C1 level) and ability to work in a dynamic, research‑oriented team.
