Data Scientist – International Organization

About the role

NTT DATA Luxembourg is looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join the Data Management department of a major international organization. You will turn raw data into actionable insights, develop forecasting models, and support automated decision‑making processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement machine‑learning models and automated learning pipelines.
• Identify, collect, and prepare relevant data sources for business needs.
• Design algorithms to mine large‑scale data stores.
• Perform data and error analysis to continuously improve model performance.
• Clean and harmonise data from diverse origins.
• Analyse trends and patterns, delivering clear interpretations.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and other teams to integrate data‑driven solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, statistics, applied mathematics or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in data‑science projects.
• Proficiency in English (C1 level).
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, research‑oriented environment.

Required skills

• Python, SQL, Scala programming.
• Big‑data platforms: Spark, Hadoop.
• Dataiku platform.
• Data‑processing libraries: Pandas, Numpy.
• Machine‑learning techniques, data mining, statistical analysis, predictive modelling, pattern recognition.
