Controller – Investment Fund Accounting

About the role

Invesco is seeking a highly skilled Controller to lead financial reporting and fund administration for its real estate and private credit investment vehicles. The role combines oversight of NAV calculations, capital flows, and regulatory compliance with strategic financial analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with third‑party fund administrators to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions and investor reporting.
• Coordinate fund‑related matters such as acquisitions, dispositions and investor flows with external partners.
• Review and approve fund‑level financial statements, including management fees, waterfalls, incentive fees, capital flows and valuations.
• Monitor compliance with fund governing documents (LPAs, subscription agreements) and support fund lifecycle events.
• Maintain and enhance internal accounting policies in line with GAAP, IFRS and other applicable standards.
• Provide input on fund structures, valuation and NAV methodologies and assist with investor RFP/DDQ responses.
• Oversee accounting and reporting for carry vehicles, tracking allocations and vesting schedules.
• Support credit facility management, including covenant tracking, draw requests and debt sizing.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in real estate and private credit investment accounting.
• Deep knowledge of fund structures, regulatory compliance and lifecycle events.
• Proven ability to act as a liaison between internal teams and external administrators.
• Strong analytical skills to support investment performance monitoring and strategic decision‑making.
• Experience leading financial and tax due‑diligence efforts with third‑party consultants.
