Compliance Officer

About the role

ARCHIMED is seeking a Compliance Officer in Lyon to oversee regulatory matters related to its AIFM‑regulated activities and its retail‑focused evergreen fund, MED Access. Reporting to the RCCI, the role will act as the primary liaison with regulators, internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring a robust compliance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the regulatory mapping for ARCHIMED’s activities as an AMF‑authorised AIFM, covering Directive 2011/61/EU and Level‑II Regulation (EU) 231/2013.
• Draft, review and keep internal policies and procedures aligned with AMF requirements.
• Prepare and submit AMF and CSSF filings, including Annex IV AIFMD reporting, and manage supervisory interactions.
• Monitor legislative developments (AIFMD II, MiFID, SFDR, CBDF, ELTIF 2.0) and assess operational impact.
• Support the compliance framework for the MED Access fund, ensuring adherence to ELTIF regulations, portfolio composition, liquidity, leverage and investor eligibility rules.
• Conduct periodic reviews of fund documentation and reporting to guarantee ongoing compliance.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of AIFMD, AMF regulations and related EU directives.
• Experience in regulatory reporting and interaction with financial supervisors.
• Ability to interpret legislative changes and implement appropriate controls.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with fluency in English; French is a plus.
