Cluster Director of Sales

About the role

The Cluster Director of Sales will lead all commercial activities for both Sofitel Luxembourg properties. Reporting to senior management, the role is responsible for generating revenue through proactive sales, strong client relationships and deep market expertise in the luxury hotel segment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute an aggressive sales strategy across rooms, food & beverage and events.
• Drive new business acquisition, expand market share and set ambitious targets for a team of five sales professionals.
• Build and maintain a high‑value client portfolio including corporate accounts, MICE, event agencies and key leisure partners.
• Negotiate major contracts and partnerships, representing the hotels at industry events, trade shows and sales missions.
• Manage online distribution channels (OTAs, brand.com) and optimise performance with key digital partners.
• Track and analyse sales performance, KPIs and revenue results to ensure continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven sales leader with a results‑driven mindset.
• Strong network and deep connections within the local and international business community.
• Hands‑on commercial experience in corporate accounts, MICE and event agencies.
• Ability to act as a key negotiator and develop long‑term partnerships.
