Cloud Architect – Azure Solutions Design

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design, implement and maintain Azure‑based solutions that meet business requirements and follow the Azure Well‑Architected and Cloud Adoption Frameworks. The role focuses on high‑availability, disaster‑recovery, and business‑continuity designs while working closely with developers, security engineers and data engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into Azure designs covering compute, networking, storage, identity, governance and monitoring.
• Define high‑availability, disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity strategies.
• Create architecture blueprints, reference models and design patterns for cloud services.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines to automate provisioning.
• Lead cloud migration, modernization and proof‑of‑concept projects.
• Ensure Azure resource management, security, compliance (GDPR, ISO) and cost‑efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide architectural guidance.
• Document architectures and support implementation phases.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing, implementing and maintaining Azure, hybrid and on‑prem architectures.
• Deep knowledge of Azure services (compute, storage, networking, security).
• Strong expertise in cloud security, identity and access management, encryption and regulatory compliance.
• Solid understanding of network protocols and hybrid cloud networking.
• Experience with cloud architecture frameworks and patterns.
• Fluent in English and French with excellent communication skills.
