Cloud Architect (Azure) – Digital Workplace Services

About the role

RTL, Europe's leading entertainment brand, is hiring a Cloud Architect (m/f) focused on Azure within its IT Department. The role sits at the heart of delivering innovative Cloud and Digital Workplace solutions and involves both project execution and service operations, acting as a reference expert in the domain. Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure Landing Zones and define the end-to-end approach for adopting the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) across Azure tenants (governance, platform design, security, operating model)
• Review and challenge Azure network architectures to ensure secure, scalable, CAF-aligned implementations
• Contribute to IT projects through business analysis, feasibility studies, architecture design, technical planning and hands-on builds
• Coordinate and oversee external consultants, and define and implement support and maintenance processes
• Ensure quality documentation and smooth handover to operational teams, resolve incidents and service requests, and deliver end-user training
• Propose service improvements, help define IT policies, SLAs, KPIs and internal controls, and support ISAE 3000 SOC reporting
• Support RTL Group's IT strategy around Office 365, IAM and digital workplace solutions, coordinate cross-departmental work, and mentor colleagues

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent practical experience
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) or similar certification
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in IT and Azure cloud technologies
• Proven track record with Azure across IaaS, PaaS and SaaS, including cloud migration projects
• Strong cloud networking expertise and excellent written and spoken English; French or German are assets

Required skills

• Azure technologies (Integration Services, API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Event Grid) and cloud adoption strategies
• Office 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams), Intune, Entra ID, Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, Defender products and Cloud App Security
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Data Lake and/or AWS is a strong asset
• Familiarity with PMI PMP, PRINCE2, Agile and ITIL is an asset
