Business Analyst – Transfer Agency

About the role

Taleo Consulting is seeking a Business Analyst specialized in Transfer Agency to join its Luxembourg team. You will work on fund cash‑settlement processes, ensuring smooth subscriptions, redemptions, transfers and switches while supporting the delivery of robust solutions for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements for fund cash‑settlement workflows.
• Define and optimise settlement, reconciliation and client‑money control processes.
• Produce functional specifications, user stories, process flows and data‑mapping artefacts.
• Collaborate with product owners, IT teams and external partners such as banks, custodians and transfer agents.
• Support UAT preparation and execution, maintaining traceability and test coverage.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning and backlog refinement.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting, reconciliation and exception‑management processes.

Required profile

• 4‑7 years of Business Analysis experience within Financial Services.
• Strong knowledge of Fund Operations, Transfer Agency and cash‑settlement lifecycles.
• Understanding of subscriptions, redemptions, transfers and switches.
• Experience with reconciliations, cash controls and client‑money environments.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and UAT processes.
• Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder‑management skills.
