Azure Cloud Engineer

About the role

CLdN IT Systems SA is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to join its IT Support & Project Services team at the Luxembourg headquarters. You will be responsible for maintaining the stability, security and continuous improvement of the company’s Azure environment, working closely with security, infrastructure and service delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead advanced troubleshooting and resolution of high‑priority Azure incidents (authentication, automation, networking, VM).
• Perform root‑cause analysis and drive problem management for recurring issues.
• Own day‑to‑day Azure platform operations, including VMs, networking, storage, backup and automation accounts.
• Design, implement and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform, PowerShell and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Optimize performance, cost and security posture of the Azure environment.
• Mentor L1/L2 support teams, create documentation and close knowledge gaps.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and major incident response.
• Ensure compliance with governance frameworks such as NIS2 and ISO27001.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Azure engineering or cloud operations.
• Proven L3/senior support experience in an enterprise environment.
• Track record of leading incident response and automation initiatives.
• Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., AZ‑104, AZ‑305, AZ‑400) are a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of responsibility and quality.
