Avionic Aircraft Technician – Line Maintenance

About the role

LuxairAirlines is seeking a qualified Avionic Aircraft Technician to join its Line Maintenance department. You will be responsible for performing, signing‑off, and releasing aircraft maintenance tasks while ensuring compliance with EASA Part 66 and Part 145 regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and release aircraft maintenance according to company privileges and EASA limits.
• Diagnose technical defects, determine root causes, and apply approved maintenance data.
• Provide regular progress updates, report discovered defects, and communicate issues to relevant personnel.
• Inform the Team Leader of any delays or job cancellations with clear justification.
• Complete Work Orders with all required information following internal procedures.
• Perform single‑check controls and double‑check controls for critical tasks.
• Raise deficiency reports and offer technical advice to maintenance coordinators when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure tools are complete and functional.
• Provide on‑demand support to other departments after receiving proper instruction or training.

Required profile

• Current EASA Part 66 CAT B2 Certifying Staff.
• Proven aviation experience with recent EASA Part 145 competence assessments.
• Willingness to work in a team, on irregular shifts, and travel for duty.
• Rigorous, self‑motivated, and capable of independent work.
• Fluent English; strong French or German communication skills (spoken and written).
• Advanced knowledge of aircraft inspection and maintenance procedures for Luxair’s fleet.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities.
• Ability to communicate clearly at all company levels and maintain data confidentiality.
