Audit Manager – Banking & Financial Services

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead a prestigious portfolio of banking and financial sector clients. You will oversee audit engagements from planning through delivery, ensuring high‑quality documentation and insightful reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop audit teams during fieldwork.
• Design and implement comprehensive audit plans.
• Monitor budgets, track progress, and maintain audit quality standards.
• Review fieldwork continuously and report findings to senior management.
• Contribute to efficient staff planning and resource allocation.
• Deliver clear, value‑added reports to clients and nurture long‑term relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of financial audit experience in an international audit firm.
• Exposure to banking, PSF, and securitisation sectors.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational abilities.
• Fluent in French and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, IRE) or commitment to obtain one.

Required skills

• Knowledge of LuxGAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
• Understanding of banking regulatory frameworks and statutory audit requirements.
