Associate Tax Regulatory Compliance

About the role

You will join PwC Luxembourg’s Tax Financial Services team, working closely with specialists across tax, advisory, audit, and AML. The role supports international financial institutions in Luxembourg with complex regulatory and reporting topics, helping them stay compliant with evolving FATCA, CRS, and QI requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Support banks, funds, and insurance companies in identifying clients and accounts subject to FATCA, CRS, and QI frameworks.
• Contribute to due‑diligence and testing activities to assess the implementation and effectiveness of regulatory processes.
• Analyse client data and documentation to ensure accurate and complete regulatory reporting.
• Prepare FATCA, CRS, and QI reports for submission to Luxembourg tax authorities.
• Document processes, identify gaps, and provide practical improvement recommendations in advisory engagements.
• Collaborate with internal PwC teams (tax, advisory, audit, AML) on multidisciplinary regulatory compliance projects.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (completed or in progress) in economics or law with a focus on taxation.
• First exposure to tax, legal, or compliance topics through an internship, thesis, or early professional experience.
• Working knowledge of FATCA, CRS, and/or QI concepts, or strong motivation to develop expertise.
• Language skills: English (C1), French (B2), German (B2).

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office, especially independent use of Excel.
• Ability to create presentations using PowerPoint.
