Associate M&PE – Corporate (Luxembourg)

About the role

White & Case is seeking a motivated Associate to join its Corporate Mergers & Private Equity (M&PE) practice in Luxembourg. This junior position offers the opportunity to develop core legal skills while supporting senior lawyers on a range of corporate transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, case law, and regulatory frameworks.
• Draft basic legal documents such as term sheets, non‑disclosure agreements and simple purchase agreements under supervision.
• Organise and maintain case files, ensuring documents are current and easily accessible.
• Support due‑diligence processes by reviewing and cataloguing client documents.
• Attend negotiations, take detailed notes, and prepare pre‑meeting materials including agendas and presentation slides.
• Handle routine client communications to gather information and respond to inquiries.
• Perform administrative duties such as scheduling meetings and filing documents.
• Report directly to a Partner and assist with day‑to‑day team operations.

Required profile

• Recent law graduate or early‑career lawyer with a strong interest in corporate M&A.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently on straightforward tasks while seeking guidance on more complex matters.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
