Associate Legal Counsel

About the role

Hydrosat is seeking an Associate Legal Counsel to join its growing in‑house legal team. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will support corporate, regulatory and compliance matters across the United States, Luxembourg and the Netherlands as the company expands its space‑based data platform.

Key responsibilities

• Support corporate governance for multiple entities, including board and shareholder documentation and corporate record‑keeping.
• Manage entity lifecycle and statutory compliance, coordinating filings and renewals with local service providers.
• Assist with employee program design, benefits planning and related legal documentation.
• Participate in fundraising, financing and transaction processes, handling due diligence and data‑room management.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance program covering export controls (U.S. ITAR/EAR, EU dual‑use), trade sanctions, anti‑bribery, anti‑corruption and conflicts of interest.
• Draft, review and roll out internal policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Law degree with relevant qualification to practice.
• Experience in corporate governance, entity management and multi‑jurisdictional compliance.
• Familiarity with export‑control regimes and trade‑sanctions frameworks.
• Strong analytical abilities and a collaborative, hands‑on approach.

Required skills

• Knowledge of U.S. ITAR and EAR regulations.
• Understanding of EU dual‑use export controls.
• Experience with trade‑sanctions compliance.
• Anti‑bribery and anti‑corruption compliance expertise.
