Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the role

Jane, a modern European restaurant located in the GRID X destination, is looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support daily operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. You will act as a bridge between the front‑of‑house team and management, helping to maintain high service standards in a fast‑paced, high‑end environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Manager in supervising daily restaurant operations.
• Ensure smooth and efficient service, maintaining high standards at all times.
• Assist with scheduling, team coordination, and daily briefings.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of staff.
• Monitor stock levels, assist with purchasing, and support cost control.
• Track key performance indicators and contribute to financial follow‑up.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and safety regulations.
• Lead by example on the floor and handle guest feedback.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of supervisory experience in hospitality, preferably in a fast‑paced or high‑end setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Natural leadership ability and excellent communication skills.
• Proactive, hands‑on mindset with quick adaptability.
• Basic understanding of operational and financial indicators.
• Fluent in French and English; Luxembourgish or additional languages are a plus.
