Assistant Professor – Sport Management & Digital Strategy

About the role

LUNEX, a specialised higher‑education institution in Luxembourg, is seeking an Assistant Professor to lead its Master’s programme in Sport Management and Digital Strategy. The role combines teaching, research, programme coordination and the development of high‑profile industry partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage and lead accreditation cycles for the Master’s Sport Management & Digital Strategy programme, delivered both in‑person and in blended formats.
• Teach and lecture across bachelor’s and master’s levels, ensuring scholarly excellence.
• Develop and expand a network of international sport federations, global sports brands and athlete management agencies.
• Establish a high‑quality research profile, secure funding, lead projects and build international research collaborations.
• Represent LUNEX at academic and professional forums and support recruitment and promotional activities.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree in a relevant discipline or significant industry experience.
• Proven scholarly or professional achievements in sport management, digital strategy or related fields.
• Established or emerging research record with experience in funding acquisition or project leadership.
• Experience developing and managing high‑profile industry partnerships.
• Experience overseeing accreditation cycles for academic programmes.
• Strong interpersonal, communication (English C1/C2) and collaborative skills; French or German is a plus.
