Asset Management Trainee – Risk, Compliance & Legal

About the role

Join Global Funds Management S.A., a subsidiary of Nomura Group, as a trainee supporting the Asset Management, Risk, Compliance and Legal teams. This 6‑month position offers hands‑on experience in fund operations, reporting and regulatory processes within a dynamic Luxembourg‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating and reviewing control, performance and ad‑hoc reports.
• Support daily operations such as market and fund data collection, daily controls and preparation of management approvals.
• Help organise board, management and investment committee meetings.
• Contribute to risk‑management and compliance activities, including the Compliance Monitoring Plan.
• Review investment‑fund procedures and update operational manuals.
• Support AML/KYC processes and other compliance controls.
• Participate in project work and attend internal meetings.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Master‑level Finance or Legal program with a school/university convention.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Team player with enthusiasm for learning.
• Good command of English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
