Aircraft Wheels & Brakes Mechanic

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Aircraft Wheels & Brakes Mechanic to join our maintenance shop in Luxembourg. The role involves performing repairs, overhauls, and routine maintenance on aircraft wheel and brake assemblies while ensuring safety and compliance with EU aviation regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and complete overhauls on aircraft wheels and brake systems.
• Operate and maintain shop equipment and machinery according to training.
• Maintain, service, and calibrate shop tools and equipment.
• Report unsafe conditions or defects to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow shift schedules and work in a team-oriented environment.

Required profile

• Secondary technical education (CATP, DAP or equivalent) or a recognised apprenticeship.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar mechanical role.
• Detail‑oriented, conscientious and able to work safely.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to obtain a certificate of good conduct and a medical fitness certificate.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, especially aircraft wheel and brake assemblies.
• Ability to read technical manuals and diagrams.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience operating shop equipment and tools.
