Aircraft Mechanic

About the role
CAE Aviation is seeking a qualified Aircraft Mechanic to join its maintenance team. You will be responsible for ensuring aircraft are maintained to the highest safety and regulatory standards while supporting a variety of government and commercial flight operations.
Key responsibilities
- Perform base and line maintenance tasks on assigned aircraft.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and system issues.
- Execute maintenance work in compliance with applicable regulations and company instructions.
Required profile
- Hold an EASA Part‑66 AML B1.1, B1.2 or B2 licence, or a FAA A&P certificate.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong prioritisation skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and willingness to travel.
Required skills
- EASA Part‑66 AML B1.1
- EASA Part‑66 AML B1.2
- EASA Part‑66 AML B2
- FAA A&P certificate
- Type rating or experience on Beech 90/100/200/300 Series, Casa C‑212, Cessna 208 Series, Fairchild SA226/227, Saab SF340
- Experience with PT6 engines
- Experience with TPE331 engines
