AIFM Risk Manager

About the role

The AIFM Risk Manager will join a dynamic department focused on the growth and performance of the Fundcraft brand. You will be responsible for overseeing risk management activities across a range of funds and strategies, including private equity, fund‑of‑funds and any other strategies authorised by the CSSF.

Key responsibilities

• Review and ensure compliance of risk‑management procedures with CSSF regulations.
• Update the risk‑management policy to reflect the overall risk framework and best practices.
• Evaluate the valuation policy for proper implementation and regulatory compliance.
• Assess transactions and investor profiles to verify alignment with fund documentation and applicable laws.
• Prepare materials for monthly Conducting Officer meetings in collaboration with the Conducting Officer responsible for risk management.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of Annex IV reporting and other mandatory regulatory reports (including DORA/ESG).
• Monitor delegated and outsourced functions to ensure they meet mandatory and legal requirements.
• Contribute to the development of risk reports and analytics to support strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Strong ownership mindset with a “getting‑things‑done” attitude.
• Proactive work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile.
• Interest in financial modelling for risk management and pricing of financial instruments.
• Solution‑oriented and pragmatic approach.
