AI Voice Agent Developer (Remote Contract)

About the role

We are looking for an AI Voice Agent Developer to join AURA by Cleanr on a remote contract basis. You will build production‑grade AI assistants that handle real phone calls, route requests, and integrate with existing business stacks.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI voice and chat agents with clean UX and safety boundaries.
• Create booking, intake, escalation, and after‑hours funnels.
• Develop webhooks, automations, retries, and logging mechanisms.
• Integrate agents with CRMs, calendars, WhatsApp, SMS and other APIs.
• Track KPIs such as routing accuracy, drop‑offs and escalation rates.
• Debug multilingual speech‑to‑text/text‑to‑speech, latency issues and edge cases.

Required profile

• Proven experience shipping AI voice or chat agents in production.
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced startup environment.
• Strong documentation habits and clean coding practices.
• Ability to handle multilingual interactions.
