AI & Management Consulting Trainee (6‑month internship)

About the role

KPMG Luxembourg is looking for a motivated trainee to join its AI & Management Consulting team. You will work on real‑world AI transformation projects for clients in banking, asset management, insurance and the public sector, helping them build future‑ready strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Support AI‑enabled transformation projects across financial services and government organisations.
• Assist in redesigning business processes through automation, AI integration and data‑driven decision making.
• Prepare client‑facing reports, decks and documentation that translate complex AI concepts into clear business impact.
• Collaborate with managers to keep projects on schedule, meet milestones and deliver results.
• Identify opportunities where AI can add value and contribute to client relationship building.

Required profile

• Final‑year Master’s student in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering or a related field.
• Available to start between June 2026 and October 2026 for a 6‑month mandatory internship.
• Fluent English; French is a strong asset, German or Luxembourgish a plus.
• Analytical mindset, detail‑oriented and strong problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in Python programming.
• Familiarity with Power BI.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
