Accounting & Treasury Manager (Japanese speaker)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Accounting and Treasury Manager who is fluent in Japanese to join our fast‑growing, regulated cryptocurrency exchange in Luxembourg. You will lead the Finance function, ensuring transparency, efficiency and compliance across all financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Finance team, driving continuous improvement and process efficiency.
• Oversee financial accounting including revenue accounting, accounts payable, month‑ and year‑end closings and financial controls.
• Collaborate with Operations and Compliance to safeguard client assets and ensure effective processing.
• Prepare, analyse and control internal and external financial statements and results.
• Implement systems and automation to enhance financial operations.
• Coordinate with auditors to complete timely audits.
• Conduct financial planning & analysis, budgeting, forecasting and variance explanations.
• Manage treasury functions: bank accounts, cash management, reconciliations.
• Handle corporate tax matters (direct and indirect) and regulatory reporting to the CSSF.
• Support global finance initiatives and ensure alignment with overseas offices.

Required profile

• Fluent Japanese language skills.
• Strong background in accounting, treasury or finance within a regulated environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a finance team and manage complex financial processes.
• Interest or familiarity with cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
