Accounting Manager – German Speaking (Alternative Investments)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager who is fluent in German and English to join a leading alternative investment manager. The role focuses on accounting, reporting, and financial analysis for Luxembourg companies and portfolio entities across infrastructure, renewable energy, private equity, private debt, and real estate.

Key responsibilities

• Perform accounting under IFRS and Luxembourg GAAP for LuxCos and portfolio entities, collaborating with global teams.
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts in close cooperation with worldwide entities.
• Operate controlling tools to monitor KPIs, cash flows, and accounting metrics.
• Conduct investment analysis and IRR calculations.
• Approve payments and manage cash flow for LuxCos and portfolio entities.
• Provide transaction support and ensure accurate consolidation.

Required profile

• Recognized accounting qualification (e.g., university degree in Business Administration) and relevant experience.
• 3–8 years of experience in finance, investments, valuation, controlling, or accounting.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Strong knowledge of banking and/or funds business.
• High proficiency in IFRS and Luxembourg GAAP.
• Experience with consolidation is highly appreciated.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and take proactive responsibility.
