Accounting Manager – German Speaker, Home Office

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager who is fluent in German to join a leading fiduciary firm in Luxembourg. The role is fully remote and combines team leadership with a strong client‑facing dimension, supporting a portfolio of investment funds, SOPARFIs, holding companies and special purpose vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring reliable, responsive service.
• Lead, coach and support a team of around five accountants, including remote colleagues.
• Oversee accounting for a diversified portfolio of SPVs, holding entities, SOPARFIs and private‑equity/real‑estate structures.
• Coordinate the full production of annual financial statements, from trial balance to statutory closing.
• Prepare, review and validate corporate income tax and VAT filings, collaborating with tax experts when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum six years of accounting experience in Luxembourg within a fiduciary, PFS or Big Four environment.
• Fluent German and strong command of French or English.
• Proven experience managing or supervising a team.
• Deep knowledge of SPV structures and investment vehicles, including funds.
