Accounting Manager – German Speaker, Home Office

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager who is fluent in German to join a leading fiduciary firm in Luxembourg. The role is fully remote and combines team leadership with a strong client‑facing dimension, allowing you to mentor colleagues while building trusted relationships with a diversified portfolio of entities.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring reliable and responsive service.
• Lead, coach and support a team of around five accounting professionals, including remote staff.
• Oversee accounting supervision for SPVs, holding companies, SOPARFIs, private equity and real‑estate structures.
• Coordinate the end‑to‑end production of annual financial statements, from trial balance to statutory closing.
• Prepare, review and validate corporate income tax and VAT filings, collaborating with tax experts when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum six years of accounting experience in Luxembourg within a fiduciary, PFS or Big Four environment.
• Fluent German with strong command of French or English.
• Proven experience managing or supervising a team.
• Solid expertise in SPV structures and investment vehicles, including investment funds.

Required skills

• Accounting supervision and financial statement preparation.
• Corporate income tax filing.
• VAT filing.
• Knowledge of SPV, SOPARFI and investment fund accounting.
