Accounting Manager – Flexible Hours, Satellite Office

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join a well‑established fiduciary firm in Strassen. The role combines technical accounting expertise, team leadership, and client relationship management in a flexible, people‑oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for clients, building long‑term relationships through proactive service.
• Supervise a diversified portfolio of SPVs, SOPARFIs, holding companies, and private‑equity/real‑estate structures, ensuring accurate and high‑quality accounting.
• Lead, mentor and support the accounting team, including remote colleagues, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Oversee the preparation and review of annual financial statements, managing the closing process from trial balance to statutory accounts.
• Review and validate corporate tax and VAT returns, working with internal tax specialists on complex transactions.

Required profile

• Minimum six years of accounting experience in Luxembourg, preferably within a fiduciary, PFS, or Big Four environment.
• Fluent in German and strong command of French or English.
• Proven experience leading or supervising a team, comfortable with both people‑management and operational duties.
• In‑depth technical knowledge of SPVs, SOPARFIs, holding companies, and investment vehicles, including investment funds.
