Accountant – In‑House (Luxembourg) – Asset Management

About the role

Join a close‑knit, international asset‑management team in Luxembourg, working in a human‑sized office of around twenty employees. The role focuses on in‑house accounting for funds and fiduciary activities, supporting transparent and collaborative finance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounting invoices and payments, maintaining accurate financial records.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, annual closings and related reporting.
• Handle intercompany accounting transactions in collaboration with internal departments.
• Review VAT returns and coordinate with tax authorities or external stakeholders as required.
• Gradually take ownership of more technical and complex accounting tasks.
• Support efficient accounting procedures and ensure compliance with internal processes.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of accounting or audit experience in Luxembourg, preferably within a fiduciary, asset‑management firm, Big Four or financial services provider.
• Exposure to SPVs or real‑estate investment structures is a strong advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Fluent English and comfortable German.
• Motivated, detail‑oriented and eager to develop technical accounting knowledge.
