Account Manager – Metal Sales

About the role

We are seeking an Account Manager to join the commercial team of an international metals producer and recycler. Based in Luxembourg, you will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships and driving new business in the metals market.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and develop relationships with current customers while identifying and onboarding new business opportunities.
• Coordinate the execution of sales contracts, ensuring smooth collaboration between commercial, logistics and operational teams.
• Regularly visit customers and prospects to strengthen relationships and support business growth.
• Report directly to the CEO on sales performance and market developments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account management, sales, business development or a commercial role within the metals sector.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage customer relationships.
• Fluency in English and either German or French.

Required skills

• Knowledge of metal pricing mechanisms, commodity markets and the London Metal Exchange (LME) is highly advantageous.
