About the role
Avient is seeking an Account Manager to drive profitable growth of its Healthcare Applications portfolio within the Color & Additives Solutions (Mevopur™) business across Europe. You will be responsible for expanding existing accounts and acquiring new strategic customers while acting as the primary liaison for global key accounts.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and grow existing business while identifying new revenue opportunities in the healthcare sector.
- Develop and qualify target customers, coordinating efforts across regions and business units.
- Manage strategic relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure favorable returns on invested resources.
- Provide technical and regulatory support, leveraging Avient’s capabilities to meet customer requirements.
- Utilize CRM tools to build a robust sales funnel, cross‑sell solutions, and avoid bad debts.
- Monitor competition, implement pricing strategies, and contribute to commercial strategy development.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Polymer Sciences, Marketing or Business.
- Proven sales or marketing experience in a related industry, preferably healthcare.
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship‑building abilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 50 % of the time.
- Fluency in English and German.
