Transfer Agent Expert

About the role

PWC Luxembourg is seeking a Transfer Agent (TA) Expert to join its Advisory line of service. The role focuses on advising and supporting clients operating in the transfer agent space, helping them navigate operational, technological and regulatory challenges across a range of investment fund structures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consultancy to TA‑active clients, addressing operational, business, technology and regulatory issues.
• Identify market trends, support commercial initiatives, lead client discussions and contribute to proposal preparation.
• Analyse and optimise TA business processes, implement best practices, and manage regulatory change impacts.
• Design and deliver training programmes for internal teams and client personnel.
• Coach junior team members on TA industry matters.
• Represent PwC Luxembourg in local industry association working groups and events.
• Conduct gap analyses, identify inefficiencies, ensure compliance, and recommend improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience delivering consulting services to the TA industry.
• Strong understanding of the investment fund sector, both liquid and alternative vehicles.
• In‑depth knowledge of Luxembourg’s financial regulatory framework.
