Transaction Processing Officer – Luxembourg

About the role

The European Investment Bank is looking for a Transaction Processing Officer to join its Finance Directorate in Luxembourg. You will work on high‑volume, high‑criticality financial transactions, ensuring they are processed accurately and on time while supporting the bank’s digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Process and settle financial transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
• Manage operational and settlement risks associated with high‑volume processing.
• Support back‑office transformation by applying data, automation, AI, ML, RPA and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT).
• Ensure compliance with the Bank’s policies, maintain data quality and contribute to straight‑through processing initiatives.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Legal, IT and Data functions on cross‑functional projects.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in financial markets transaction processing.
• Ability to work autonomously under tight deadlines and high operational risk exposure.
• Data‑driven mindset with interest in innovative technologies.
• Excellent collaboration skills across multiple internal units.
