Senior Associate VAT Consulting

About the role

PwC Luxembourg is seeking a Senior Associate to join its growing VAT practice. You will work with a diverse portfolio of local and international clients, providing expert advice on VAT, GST, sales tax and other indirect taxes.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on technical VAT issues and support business development initiatives.
• Draft VAT opinions for banks, insurers, financial firms, commercial and industrial companies, real‑estate developers and public‑sector organisations.
• Provide guidance on related indirect tax matters such as registration and customs duties.
• Collaborate with PwC teams in Luxembourg and abroad.
• Deliver in‑house and external training sessions and participate in conferences.
• Support and develop junior talent to ensure high‑quality service delivery.

Required profile

• University degree in law or economics with a specialised tax law qualification.
• 3–5 years of experience in indirect taxation, either in a corporate tax department, law firm or tax advisory role.
• Fluent English; French or German considered an asset.
• Methodical, organised approach with strong analytical and communication abilities.
